The former St Dominic’s Catholic Primary School is up for sale.
It shut its doors for the final time in 2020 after trustees asked the government if it could close due to low pupil numbers – in 2019 just 54 pupils studied there. The original part of the building dates back to 1886 and an extension has been added more recently.
The building in Inchbrook, which boats 0.9 acres of land, is being marketed by Savills estate agents, with a ‘Price on Application’ and ‘offers invited by 12 noon on Wednesday, September 6th’ and is listed on Rightmove as ‘residential development for sale’.
The sale brochure states there is a ‘potential development opportunity, subject to planning permission’ and is currently classified under the use class F1 (Learning & Non-residential Institutions).
