Jamie Robson, a fan-favourite at Forest Green Rovers, is set to join League Two newcomers Oldham Athletic.
The 27-year-old left-back departs the New Lawn after two-and-a-half seasons, during which he made 122 appearances and was a standout performer in 2024/25, earning both the Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Season awards.
Robson, who joined Rovers from Lincoln in January 2023, featured in all 46 league games last season but appeared to fall out of favour during pre-season following the arrival of Neil Kengni from Macclesfield.
A club spokesperson confirmed his departure, stating: “Rovers can confirm that full-back Jamie Robson has left the club with immediate effect. The Club wishes him well in the next chapter of his career.”
Robson previously played top-flight football in Scotland with Dundee United.
