Photographer Simon Pizzey was up with the lark to capture these fabulous pictures of Gloucestershire Morris, Stroud Morris and Tattered Court Morris heralding the sunrise and celebrating May Day on Painswick Beacon on Wednesday morning.

May Day celebrations are believed to date back more than 1,000 years and mark the start of summer.
