The Woolpack, the historic pub nestled in the picturesque Slad Valley and renowned for its association with celebrated poet and author Laurie Lee, has been recognised as one of the UK’s top pubs in the prestigious National Pub & Bar Awards.

The popular venue secured 10th place in the Industry’s Choice Award, ranking among the nation’s most highly regarded pubs and bars. The award celebrates excellence across the hospitality sector and is determined by industry professionals.

The Woolpack joins an esteemed list of venues from across the country, with The Devonshire in Soho taking the top spot, followed by The Somers Town Coffee House in Euston and The French House in Soho.
