There’s a grand reason to play the Lucky Severn Community Lottery, with John Lewis and Waitrose vouchers up for grabs on top of a £25,000 jackpot.

Every ticket bought before November 25 will have a chance of winning £1,000-worth of John Lewis and Waitrose vouchers – or a £1,000 pre-paid MasterCard, as well as a £25,000 jackpot and other weekly prizes.

The Lucky Severn Lottery has raised thousands of pounds for more than 94 good causes including Home-Start, Allsorts Gloucestershire, The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home and Stroud Valleys Project.

50p of each £1 ticket is paid directly to the cause a player chooses to support with an additional 10p going to other good causes in the Stroud district. We currently have 713 weekly players and have raised £41,807 annually for local causes.

Cllr Catherine Braun, Stroud District Council Leader said:

“The lottery underpins the aims of our Council Plan to support communities and build resilience through community-led networks. Buying a weekly ticket to the Lucky Severn Community Lottery can make a big difference to local groups in our district.”

Cllr Natalie Bennett, Stroud District Council Deputy Leader said:

“I’m delighted that the Lucky Severn Lottery has raised such a lot of money for good causes in the district. You’re not only giving back to a not-for-profit organisation, but you can be in the chance of winning a great prize, like this £1,000 John Lewis voucher.”

With our new Super Draw, you can also buy extra tickets to “top-up” for Super Draw week – or if you don’t want weekly tickets, you can buy tickets just for the Super Draw!

If you represent a community group, you can apply to join Lucky Severn at any time. It’s free to register and participants receive personalised marketing materials and support, a page on the Lucky Severn Community Lottery website, and 50p of every £1 your supporters spend.

Players can choose which good cause they would like their money to go towards. To buy tickets go to www.luckysevernlottery.co.uk
