Lucky Severn Community Lottery players will have the chance to win a trip to Center Parcs, as well as weekly cash prizes up to the £25,000 jackpot.
One lucky person who buys a ticket before the draw on Saturday 25 March will win a stay at Center Parcs where they can unwind and relax in the forest, take a ride on the rapids and enjoy some fine dining in one of the family-friendly restaurants.
The Lucky Severn lottery has raised thousands of pounds for more than 80 local charities including Cotswold Canals Trust, Nailsworth Youth Club and The Keepers Wotton Area Community Hub.
Fifty pence of each £1 ticket goes directly to the player’s chosen good cause with 10p going to a community fund, used to further support local good causes.
Cllr Catherine Braun, Stroud District Council Leader said: “The Lucky Severn Community Lottery is a wonderful initiative – players who are purchasing a weekly ticket are having a positive impact for local charities in our district as well as being in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes, including a break in Center Parcs.
“The lottery underpins the aims of our Council Plan to support communities and build resilience through community-led networks.”
If you represent a community group, you can apply to join Lucky Severn at any time. It’s free to register and participants receive personalised marketing materials and support, a page on the Lucky Severn Community Lottery website, and 50p of every £1 your supporters spend.
