Mysterious streaks of light spotted in sky

A post on a community Facebook group about an ‘awesome’ object spotted in the sky has left many questioning what it could be.

A woman posting on Dursley Matters said: “I have just seen something in the sky, think it may have been space debris, but was great to see, whatever it was. It was quick, greenish/white glow to it.

“I was standing in the car park at Hunter Hall pub, around the 9pm time…. Don’t think it was a shooting star due to the size of it and it wasn’t as fast, also not really in the distance. More like overhead. Awesome stuff.”

Another woman said: “I saw the same thing… but was near Bristol Airport tonight.”

There was also a sighting by a woman in Leonard Stanley on Easter Monday.
