Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Gloucester city centre.
A man was walking from the Docks towards Southgate Street and was crossing Commercial Road at the zebra crossing when four men attacked him.
One of the men punched him to the back of the head before hitting him in the jaw, fracturing it in three places and leaving him requiring hospital treatment.
The victim fell to the floor and the group grabbed his wallet, which contained cash, before heading in the direction of Bristol Road.
The four men were all white and of stocky build. Two were around 5ft 7in in height, while the other two were taller.
Three of them had coverings over the lower parts of their faces, while the fourth wore a balaclava. One of them also had a black scooter.
The incident happened between 11pm and midnight on Friday 22 December.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries, including trawls of CCTV in the area, and are now asking the public for help.
