Forest Green boss Robbie Savage has swooped for his second pre-season signing by landing winger Bryan Ifeanyi from Isthmian Premier Division side Carshalton Athletic on a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old winger made 36 appearances for the Robins last season, scoring 13 goals and registering 10 assists, earning Carshalton’s Golden Boot award for the 2025/26 campaign.
Ifeanyi’s arrival follows last week’s signing of Hemel Hempstead Town captain Kyle Ajayi, who also joined the club on a two-year deal.
Rovers’ boss Savage expressed his delight at securing the signing: “It is absolutely fantastic to have Bryan on board. He is fast, dynamic and skilful with the ball at his feet. His profile embodies everything we are trying to do at Forest Green, and he is another player I’m sure the fans will be excited to watch when he steps onto the pitch.”
Ifeanyi cut his footballing teeth at Cambridge United, going on to play for Leyton Orient and then securing a professional deal at Colchester United aged 17. After being released Ifeanyi had spells at Aveley and Brentwood. But it was a move to Carshalton in 2024 that saw him come under the microscope as one of the most sought-after talents outside of the EFL.
